Design Background

9ine is a ’nod’ to Gianluca Vialli, an exceptional man. 9 was his number, defined at Sampdoria which we depict in the colourway.

At Samp he formed a profound friendship with Roberto Mancini which transcended clubs they played at, we recognise that in the design of the ball.

There is a ‘V’, coloured black & white, it’s bold to show Vialli’s leadership, his pursuit of perfection, his career at Juventus. It is intertwined with a more flamboyant ‘M’ for Mancini.

The colourway of the blucherchiati (Sampdoria) is paramount, but the black & white also signifies Juventus.

Description

Our entry level training level ball offering the exact same qualities as it’s competitors with two important differentiators.

The use of micromachine stitching makes the ball structurally stronger, and a process of thermally bonding the seams enhances that strength and makes the ball almost totally water resistant.
