Design Background
Ei8ht divides opinion on design. Some say it looks like something viewed under a microscope, but once you know the inspiration it takes on a different meaning.
The number 8 sits in the middle of the word — our other balls start with the number. Why? Because our inspiration sat in the middle of the field: Iniesta.
The distorted circle is his heat map from the 2011 Champions League final. Placing a larger map over a smaller one forms the number 8.
The remaining panels feature a graphic honouring his trademark ‘La Croqueta’. The colourway represents his club, Barcelona.

Ei8ht offers match-ball qualities at a training-ball price.
Hybrid technology is at the forefront of modern football design. Micro machine stitched seams are glued and thermally bonded for almost total water resistance.
The outer casing is Korean PU — industry leading — complemented by 4.5mm of EVA foam in two layers.
At a significantly lower price than its nearest competitor, this ball is designed specifically for grassroots clubs.
